Hello, I’m Evan!

I’m the creator of Evan Does Tatts. My journey began when I trained in a brow grooming course which led me to the industry of Cosmetic Tattooing. I very quickly grew to love what I was only doing at the time which was microblading but was slowly discovering one treatment doesn’t fit all and expanded my brow tattooing services so I could offer more variety since everyone's brows are bespoke.

Frequently asked questions

  • Any style of tattoo will age over time due sun exposure, aging, skin type and lifestyle and therefore someone who has healthier skin will have a better looking tattoo.

    I offer my clients to come back for a second appointment about 6 weeks after their first appointment so we can build up your tattoo using techniques that are healthier on the skin rather than creating a tattoo that is too deep and dark.

  • This will vary from person to person due to skin type and lifestyle factors. Pigments I use for cosmetic tattooing are intended to fade and must be at least 70% faded before getting a touch up so this can remain natural looking and not heavily tattooed. This also depends on the treatment you have had but on average 1-3 years.

  • They are not as sore as you may think. Most clients fall asleep whilst getting tattooed believe it or not! I strongly believe this is mind over matter and the techniques I use help to reduce pain. If you are thinking something is sore then its gonna be sore, I like to have my clients in a welcoming and calming environment to take any edge off.

  • For fine line no, this firms the skin and can require the skin to be overworked because of this. For cosmetic tattooing I will numb when I require too, please do not arrive at your appointment with numbing.

  • I am based in my private studio in Dundee, Scotland but I would love to travel around to do pop-up days!
